Many Christians live out of their heads, rather than their hearts. Life goes on like a treadmill and they bounce from one thing to another without giving attention to, or taking time for, the needs of their hearts. They accept unhealed wounds as a normal necessity, and limp rather than walking or running in the plans and purposes of a loving heavenly Father.
Why not take some time out for your heart? Let the deep love of God the Father pour in and bring fresh freedom, wholeness, and authenticity into your life. These days will include key point teaching, personal prayer, and guided soaking time in God’s Presence. Deepen the soil of your heart for fresh encounters with God. Define the doorways of the heart, and enter into more of Heaven’s Kingdom and plans.
Sessions will be taught by Wes Boxall and others.
Each Saturday will run from 9:30am to 8:00pm with breaks for coffee and meals.

The subject of grace is a hot topic in some parts of the church right now. I have observed friends who have received greater revelation of the grace of God in Christ which has given them a new sense of freedom, joy, and peace. I applaud such fruit. The grace of God which is ours through His Son Jesus and His sacrificial death on the cross is meant to produce in us such results .
What can we say about grace?
It is ‘amazing‘, as the hymn goes. It is meant to make us stand in awe and wonder at the goodness and kindness of God in dealing with our sins and sin-nature, once and for all.
It is ‘extreme‘. The Father welcoming back His prodigal sons and daughters and throwing a party for them, completely covering their shame and dirt with His own robe of righteousness sounds almost too ‘extreme’ to be true! Yet that is the grace that has been imparted to us through Jesus Christ. He came to bring us to this very Father as sons and daughters. Continue reading “HOW EXTREME IS GRACE?”
Today is Anti Slavery Day. There are estimates that there are 27 million current victims of slavery!
The organisation ‘A21’ website states: “Human trafficking is an organized criminal industry that affects every nation. While the statistics can seem overwhelming, it is important to remember that every number represents the life of a victim. The A21 Campaign has recognized a significant need in the region of Europe, and is committed to combating this injustice through rescuing one life at a time.”
Take time today to pray, to raise awareness, and to be better informed. The heart of the Father is still freedom for the oppressed.
As Christians let’s be part of the voice of freedom for these precious souls.
Last week several of the leaders of Golden Valley Church attended the bi-annual European Partners in Harvest conference in Hemel Hempstead.
The conference was a momentous few days of Holy Spirit impartation, teaching, testimony, and friendship; making us aware again of how much we appreciate this family of churches, to which we are affiliated. Stories of what God is doing in the nations abounded, as well as testimonies of God’s love and healing.
The main speakers were John & Carol Arnott, Rolland & Heidi Baker, Dan Slade, and Jerry Anderson (LaRed). Between them they addressed a variety of pertinent issues, and exhorted all who attended in their relationship with God. Worship, led by teams from Northern Ireland and Sunderland was truly first class and an awesome experience to be part of.
The conference was well oversubscribed, with several who attempted to book places late, having to be turned away. How fantastic is it when there is so much demand to be in God’s Presence and to go to ‘church’?!
God is very much alive and well in Europe, and we are thankful to be a part of what He is doing.
