The final Sunday Service of Golden Valley Church at Innsworth Community Hall took place this morning. The church met together for a time of great celebratory worship and praise.
Meetings have been held in the Innsworth venue for the past two and a half years, and we are grateful for the time we have been able to spend there. However, it is now time to move on to the chapel – renamed ‘the Firehouse’ – in Coney Hill, Gloucester.
Other activities of the church will continue to take place in the Churchdown / Innsworth area.
Meetings in Golden Valley Church this Easter are as follows:
Our Sunday morning services have now returned to Innsworth Community Hall from this forthcoming Sunday 11th March 2012. Meetings begin at 10:30am and run for approx. two hours.
This next Sunday will be our last at the Firehouse for the time being, as we still have further work to do on the premises before they are completely functional.
We will continue to hold ‘House of Prayer’ sessions in Coney Hill together with training sessions, but Sunday services will return to Innsworth Community Hall from 11th March.
The programme for this Sunday is:
Main meeting at 10:30am and Soaking Prayer at 2:30pm, both at the Firehouse.
Please note that this Sunday morning’s service will NOT be at Innsworth Community Hall, but at the Firehouse in Coney Hill. We anticipate moving Sunday mornings back to Innsworth very shortly.
Due to the lack of adequate heating, Sunday morning services over the next two weeks will be at the Firehouse in Coney Hill, and not at Innsworth Community Hall. Start time 10:30am.
“School of Prophets” began on Saturday in Innsworth Community Hall. The participants came from several churches in the Gloucester / Cheltenham area, and together experienced a great time of learning to hear God better, understanding prophetic giftings, and the history of Schools of Prophets in the Old Testament. There was plenty of encouragement in worship and sharing God’s blessings with one another.
The school is being run as a result of a prophetic word which Wes & Sharron received from Stacey Campbell a few years ago – awesome to see it beginning to come to pass.
As well as live teaching from the pastors of GVC, the participants received video input from Mark Virkler and Lynley Allan.
